Emily Maynard’s Bachelorette season is looking mighty cosmopolitan! On The Bachelor, Ben Flajnik opted for a bevy of tropical locales (Belize, Panama, Puerto Rico) before giving his final rose to Courtney Robertson in Switzerland. As the Bachelorette, Emily began filming in her hometown in North Carolina before heading to Bermuda, England, and now… Croatia! Take that, Matterhorn.

Reality Steve and a Croatian Twitter user confirm ABC production on The Bachelorette Season 8 has moved to the Croatian coastal city of Dubrovnik. Croatian magazine dulist snapped the above photo of sweet Em wandering the streets of Dubrovnik looking like a Bond girl in a motorcycle jacket and colorful sheer scarf. Thanks to Sophie for forwarding the link.

Dubrovnik rose to prominence in the Middle Ages as the Republic of Ragusa, the only eastern Adriatic city-state to rival Venice. Renowned author George Bernard Shaw once gushed about the walled city: “If you want to see heaven on earth, come to Dubrovnik.” For more information on this gorgeous coastal town, check out The New York Times’ Dubrovnik travel guide.

First Straford, England, and now Dubrovnik — Em’s sure immersing herself (and her suitors) in some pretty fascinating history.
