ABC’s first official press release for Emily Maynard’s Bachelorette season is jam-packed with juicy details. They haven’t yet officially released the names of the contestants, but we already know a fair amount of the dudes wooing Miss Em this season — enough to be able to put two-and-two together with the hints embedded in the details revealed today. Let’s examine the press release and compare it with what we know already!

ABC’s official words:

“After saying ‘good night’ to Ricki, Emily arrives at a southern mansion where she meets her 25 potential soul mates who have traveled across the country. They include a biology teacher, a mushroom farmer, a marine biologist and an ex-professional football player.”

What we know:
-         The biology teacher is Aaron Martell.
-         The ex-professional football player is Georgia-born-and-bred Ryan Bowers, who is now a personal trainer and athletic coach. At right is a photo of Ryan and Emily on their first one-on-one date in Charlotte.

ABC’s official words:

“Emily is nervous, but her anxiety slips away and soon turns to laughter as a single dad produces a glass slipper and proclaims her a princess; a youthful entrepreneur swoops in on a skateboard; a party MC shows off his dance moves; and a southern gentleman brings something special that symbolizes his dedication to protecting her and Ricki. But although one man’s grand entrance in a helicopter impresses Emily, it only makes him a target of jealousy and ridicule from the other bachelors.”

What we know:
-         Tony Pieper, a single dad from Portland, is the one who gently places the glass slipper on Emily’s foot.
-         The youthful entrepreneur is almost certainly Jef Holm (right), a sweet 27-year-old entrepreneur from Utah (who co-founded People Water).
-         Kalon Joseph Reid McMahon is the guy who arrives on the helicopter (as seen in the last seconds of first promo for the season). He’s a model from Texas and, according to Reality Steve, left the show on his own during filming in Europe.

ABC’s official words:

“Inside the mansion, the battle is on among the eager suitors vying for the attention of the southern belle. A confident man is eager to charm Emily, but he is upstaged by a single father of six excited to show off his family photos to her. One handsome man wins her over with a pair of custom bobble head dolls, but another bachelor is extremely nervous when he reveals his career, fearing that it will remind her of her late fiancé. The night turns more emotional when another single dad brings her a heartwarming letter from his 11-year-old son. The competition erupts into a full-fledged competition when Chris Harrison brings out the coveted first impression rose.”

What we know:
-          Arie Luyendyk, Jr. (pictured right, with Emily, in Prague), is an auto racer and basically car racing royalty (his dad, Arie Sr., won the Indy 500 twice).
-          Washington State’s Doug Clerget has an 11-year-old son named Austin.

ABC’s official words:

“A tough-talking entertainer confronts the wealthy suitor who dropped in via helicopter, accusing him of being selfish and insincere. But unaware of the tension, Emily is stolen away by the skateboarder, whose soft-spoken and self-confident ways impress her. Everyone holds their breath as Emily gives out the first impression rose to one charming bachelor, but no one can blame her for choosing him. By the end of the night, Emily will have 19 men left to compete for her affections and, in the end, her heart.”

What we know:
-         The final rose wasn’t doled out until 2AM, and filming didn’t wrap until 6AM.
-         Jef Holm FTW? If he’s the aforementioned “soft-spoken” skateboarder, we know this blonde contestant makes it all the way from winning Emily over in the first night to taking her home to meet his parents
