Bachelorette Emily Maynard to Katie Holmes: "It's Better to Be Home Alone Than Be Home and Wish You Were Alone"

Emily Maynard has shot down rumors that she’s in love with Bachelorette host Chris Harrison — but her daughter Ricki has apparently formed a connection with The Rosemaster and his young daughter, Taylor.

"Ricki would wake up and say, 'Can we call Chris Harrison? And, can I play with Taylor?'" Emily tells Entertainment Tonight, adding that Ricki also had fun with Bachelorette crew members, who also brought their kids on the set. “It really is like a little kids’ club. I think she cried harder about leaving some of the camera operators than about leaving me. So she formed a lot of really strong relationships too, just like I did.”

ET also asked if Emily had any advice for new single mom Katie Holmes. She said no, since "I'm still trying to figure it out myself, obviously.” However, she added, “I think my mom gave me the best advice and I've said it before, 'It's better to be home alone than be home and wish you were alone.' That's the advice that I've stuck with for so long and hopefully I'll be home and be glad that I'm not alone one day."
