Sean Lowe has been super vocal since the beginning of time about his stance on sex before marriage. It goes a little something like this: Nope. Nope nope nope. And although he’s not a virgin-virgin, his born-again status means he and Bachelor Season 17 fiancée Catherine Giudici won’t be doing the deed until after their ABC-produced wedding this summer. But that doesn’t mean other Bachelors and Bachelorettes are on board with this policy.
“Are you going to get engaged with someone not knowing what they are like in bed? No!” Ali Fedotowsky recently exclaimed in an interview with A Drink With. It makes sense, considering the whole relationship between the rose-doler and his or her chosen ones are sped up to warp speed. In real life, engagements tend to happen a little slower. Typically, overnight dates are a time to spend getting closer to the final three contestants — in whichever way they want.
“I will say this much, I only got physical with one person,” Ali divulges. “I think it’s pretty obvious who that was! For me, it was a little bit different. I had one guy I was really into, one guy I knew was just a friend and then the third guy left me. So would I have gotten physical with more than one guy if he would have stuck around? Probably.”
“What happens is completely up to the couple,” Brad Womack explained about his season(s)’ fantasy suites in his Season 15 People blog. “I wanted to be confident that I actually knew these women as well as I thought I did. The overnight dates actually gave me quite a bit of clarity — clarity that I had been looking for!”
And Ali’s not the only one vocal about wanting to find out what her partner’s like in the sack before marriage. Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum threw in their two cents on the matter in a recent interview."Those are their own personal beliefs and we're not going to judge them," JP said about Sean and Catherine’s beliefs. "We do our thing, they do their thing." So, did they have sex before marriage? Um, yes. It seems so.
More power to 'em!” Ashley added about the couple’s desire to wait till marriage. “I admire people who can do that, you know what I mean? I'm not interested in it, but ... I think that shows a lot of strength."
