If you think Bachelorette Emily Maynard whiles away her days rubbing a Clarisonic all over her face and saying "yee-haw," think again. This gal is a bonafide bookworm, and she recently took it to her lifestyle blog to dish about her all-time favorite read: Unglued by Lysa TerKeurst. The book is basically a Christian self-help book all about feelings, emotions, and The Man Upstairs.

"With every page I felt the Lord speaking to me in such a huge way that I knew He put this book in front of me on purpose," Emily writes. "I was going through a lot of changes in my life, dealing with a lot of pressure, and honestly wasn’t sure what I was doing anymore. At the same time I was trying to be the best mom, friend, daughter, and every other badge we wear as women that I knew I was going to lose it at any minute and something had to change. I just didn’t know what."

Dang, sounds like this book changed Emily's whole perspective on life!

"After reading Unglued I realized the only thing that needed to change was my attitude," Emily says, adding that she knows some Christian books can come off as preachy. "Change isn’t always a bad thing and even when things get hard, if you just remember not only who you are but (more importantly) WHOSE you are, you’ll receive the clarity and grace that only God’s love can give," she continues.

Is it just us, or should Emily pursue a career in the church? If this whole "reality TV star / style icon" thing doesn't work out, we're thinking girlfriend has a future as a nun.
