Emily Maynard: On the Outs With Ricki's Grandparents?
Just because Emily Maynard is on a quest for love this season on The Bachelorette doesn't mean that everyone else is so supportive.
The latest news? Us Weekly reports that Emily Maynard is causing friction with her daughter Ricki's grandparents (that is, the parents of her deceased fiance, Ricky Hendrick) — and that relations have gotten so bad that they're no longer speaking. Allegedly, Ricki's grandparents were unhappy about Emily's initial appearance on The Bachelor, but supported her nonetheless — but things have soured since Emily signed on to do The Bachelorette.
"Now they're not speaking," an insider tells Us Weekly. "They don't want their grandchild in the spotlight. They are private people."
This is coupled with reports of Emily's diva antics on the set, with a source explaining, ""She knew she was the star, so she became a bit of a diva... She is painted in this Mother Teresa light. She is a nice girl, but she isn't as good as she's made out to be."
Here's hoping that the two parties can resolve their differences!
