The end of The Bachelorette is nearly upon us, but Emily Maynard will reportedly stay in the spotlight long after she hands out the final rose (or so she hopes).

The blond beauty apparently doesn’t want to bid the cameras adieu and hopes to follow in the footsteps of Ali Fedotowsky (who hosts NBC’s 1st Look) by taking on a hosting gig of her own.

“She’s using The Bachelorette as a stepping stone to be a reporter or host,” a source told the mag. “Emily wants to be famous.”

It’s hard to imagine that Emily would uproot little Ricki to score a TV job in Los Angeles, so could she finagle something in her home state of North Carolina? Perhaps she should check her local job listings!
