A couple of months ago there were rumors that The Bachelor Season 15’s Emily Maynard was dating Most Eligible Dallas’ Matt Nordgren. Emily shot that down herself in December, telling Us Weekly she wasn’t dating anyone, “I've met Matt once in my entire lifetime in L.A. with a huge group of people. [It] was definitely not a date."
But that hasn’t stopped Matt from giving Emily friendly advice and encouragement on her upcoming Season 8 of The Bachelorette. Matt talked to HollywoodLife.com about Emily and said he hopes she finds someone who loves her for herself.
“I think she’ll be really good, I really do,” Matt told HollywoodLife at the Leadership Foundation event in NYC on February 12. “Emily thought long and hard about does she want to do it again and face the public eye. She has a youngster and so that’s a tough thing right? She did it for the right reasons. I think because of that she’s going to be successful.”
