In the first installment of Wetpaint Entertainment’s exclusive interview with William Holman, we got up to speed on what our favorite funny guy has been up to since his time living in the Bachelor Pad mansion. This time around, he revealed some of the funny moments ABC should have shown from the Pad, whether or not he thinks Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum will make it for the long haul, and what he thinks of Ben Flajnik being the next bachelor.

Wetpaint Entertainment: Let’s do an expose on Bachelor Pad 2! What do you want the world to know that they might not know?

William Holman:There was a funny clip that [ABC] could have played, but decided to keep it to themselves. There was one night where I was sleeping and all the girls came in. And they sprayed me down with whipped cream and just drenched me in it. So the only way to get rid of it all in a timely fashion was to run outside and take off all my clothes — and I just jumped in the pool naked. I had to apologize for the cameraman. I was like, ‘I’m so sorry you had to see that.’ And he’s like, ‘You can’t talk to me.’ I said, ‘I know, but I need to apologize.’

There was also a scene where I run into [Graham and Michelle’s] room. They were laying in bed and I say, ‘Mom, mom, dad, dad. Can I have have a treat?’ And they’re like, ‘Okay... you can have one treat.’ So I dart out into the kitchen and I come back with a handful of marshmallows and I was like, ‘I got candy for me, but you have to have one too!’ Then I hand each of them a marshmallow, shove five in my mouth, and then run off.

It’s really too bad, because there’s just so much footage and you could almost make, just like, a channel that’s like 12 hours a day of all-things Bachelor Pad. There’s just so much to cover. And the three hour premieres and finales are just a pain to sit through. But all in all, the house, I — I don’t even know what I’m saying.

It was just a great time. I wish that all of America could have gotten a chance to see how some of those bonds were created. Whereas some of those people watching it feel like it just happened. The friendship that Kirk, Graham, Michael, and I have — I could see us getting together when we’re 78-years-old and just sitting down and having a beer together telling stories. Even in that short amount of time we became that good of friends. We talk almost every day on the phone.

The other thing I feel bad about is that I don’t think every single contestant got to say what they went on to Bachelor Pad for. Some people didn’t even get a true idea. And like I said, for me, it was because I was able to hide from the world during the roast episode. But it was also — if I had the chance to win, I had never gone to college or school before. It would have been a great benefit to me, because then I could have gone to school and gotten a Bachelor degree. Or furthered my education, which would help not only me, but my future family, which would have been great.

What did you think when it was announced that Ben Flajnik was the next Bachelor?

I think it’s the perfect fit! It doesn’t matter who you pick, there’s always going to be a side that says ‘yes’ to him and the side that says ‘no.’ But, I got the chance to get to know Ben on set doing Bachelorette and the guy knows what he wants, he’s determined. He just has that persona about him that really does draw a lot of women in. He’s the whole package. You don’t pick the guy who’s the 30-year-old guy who says he wants to be a boy and sells phones. I’m just not there yet in my life — marriage isn’t just around the corner for me. Ben is ready. And when it comes down to the opportunity, he’ll get down on one knee. And propose to whomever the lucky girl is at the end of his season.

What do you think about Ash & JP? Do you think they’ll make it?

The thing about Ashley and JP, they’re the kind of people that I can see, that a lot of people can see, 10 or 15 years from now...It’s going to be a couple that people follow and see their children together and grow up and get old together. That’s what people want to see out of the show is that true love. And that’s what JP and Ashley have. It’s a great thing to see. It’s nice to know that it can happen. They inspire me.
