If we wore what we wanted on every date we went on, the Olive Garden would have to provide us suit jackets... and pants... and shirts... okay, and probably shoes, in order to look presentable. (Yeah, that’s right b*tch, we said Olive Garden. Class for days.)

But what about what the girls wear on The Bachelor? What’s that business about? One day, they’re like getting on a plane and flying to lunch on an itola, and the next they’re running around an empty (not creepy at all) amusement park. How are you supposed to pack a bikini and a pair of shoes and, you know, something approximating appropriate clothing choices (yeah, we saw your dress creeping up, Lesley M)?

Well, according to former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, there’s a little bone being thrown their way (mind, meet gutter). “The producers give you a vague idea of what to wear,” Ali writes in her Bachelor blog. So, what gives with AshLee F’s super high heels at Six Flags?

Good question. “I found it strange that Ashlee wore a dress and 5-inch wedges on their date to an amusement park. But I'm guessing the producers told her to dress casually/comfortably and that is what she chose to wear. Some girls are comfortable in wedges and a dress. I would have been in jeans and chucks.”

We are on Ali’s side. Even those of us in the office who have a vendetta against pants were like “Um, this date is going to reveal a lot more than just her heart...” Thoughts?
