There was a point during the taping of The Bachelorette when Sean Lowe actually thought he’d spend the rest of his life with Emily Maynard. But his hopes were dashed and his heart broken when Emily sent him home at the end of The Bachelorette Season 8, Episode 9.

Emily herself looked visibly heartbroken while saying goodbye to Sean, crying into her hands while telling him, “I wanted it to be you so bad.”

Now, nearly two months later, how is Sean coping? A lot better than you’d think.

“At the 'Men Tell All' taping, Sean and Emily had a very meaningful exchange,” a source tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “It wasn’t loud, angry or confrontational. It was honest and peaceful.”

“Emily told Sean that her feelings for him had been genuine, but she just had doubts about their future.” According to the source, Sean replied with grace and a great deal of self-respect. “He thanked her for her honesty, but told her that the woman who is going to end up as his wife will not have any question whether or not she’s the one for him.”

Nicely – and maturely – played, Sean. Now, when does the campaign to make him the next Bachelor after Roberto start?
