Put your speculation hats on, 'cause this is kind of like a Bachelorette blind item.

Jillian Harris asked fans to submit questions on The Bachelorette Season 5 and she'll be answering a few over the next few weeks on her website, JillianHarris.com.

She started with a pretty good one/two:"Any pressure from the producers or Chris Harrison to keep/send home anyone guys in particular? Do you still keep in touch in a friends kind of way with any of the men?"

As Jillian answered:

"I keep in touch with most of the guys from my show. I was so lucky I got a BIG group of super hot and funny guys. In fact Michael Stagliano and I went on a date last Thursday! ;) [Wetpaint Entertainment note: More about that here. Woo hoo!]

As far as pressure from the producers, it did happen sometimes because the producers get to spend more time with the guys than I do, so they see a different side of them (good or bad). But generally they let me do what I wanted…

One night I did throw a fit when I REALLY wanted to send a certain guy home (no naming names) and they wouldn’t let me. I refused to go back in the room until they let me send him home… and ultimately they did.”

Hm. We’re going with either Jake Pavelka, Wes Hayden, or David Good on the guy she wanted to let go and was told no. Jake got eliminated pretty darn early — Episode 6 — for someone who was eventually chosen as The Bachelor. So it would make sense if they wanted to keep him around to build that fan base a bit more. Wes was “the villain” of the season, so it would also make sense if they had wanted him to stay to the very end. Dave was great for alpha male drama and it’s possible they would want him to stick around beyond Episode 4.

But they really should just let the mini rosemasters do whatever they want without having to fight. It’s their “journey,” right?
