The Bachelorette

Jillian Harris remembers being "totally ga-ga" for her final four guys on The Bachelorette Season 5, but she's not seeing the same spark from Ben Flajnik on The Bachelor Season 16. Is he just hiding his emotions well or is the future Mrs. Flajnik just not IN this crop?

In her blog on Episode 7, Jillian cautions readers to not judge Ben too much for falling for Courtney Robertson. "When you’re on the show you lose yourself, your sense of normalcy, and reason… you’re only talking to producers and you’re on this journey with the same, small group of people for months. Basically, it’s normal that he’s not seeing how crazy she is. And, if he does pick Courtney — it doesn’t really matter! They’ll be together for a short amount of time and then end up with other people anyways."

Jillian loves Kacie Boguskie, but writes "I think it will be Courtney and Lindzi Cox in the final two. And I am NOT reading spoilers, those are my own opinions."

However, she has a more philosophical big picture approach to the show, probably learning from her own experience picking Ed Swiderski, then breaking up a year later.

"The more I watch this season, the more I get into it, but at the end of the day, if you ask me, it doesn’t really matter who Ben picks. Speaking from experience, he will be fine regardless. Things will evolve, hopefully he’ll stay friends with the other girls from the show (as I’ve done) and things will work out for him when the timing is right. Viewers tend to forget that the people on the show are not the only people in the world, but the truth is Ben’s gal might not be there! That’s fine! This is entertainment, and like any other show there has to be a climax — that’s what the ring and engagement are for."
