Joe Gendreau only made it through two episodes of The Bachelorette, but he doesn’t seem to hold a grudge against Emily Maynard for dumping him on their one-on-one date (he didn’t even get to enjoy the fireworks!) He knows what went wrong.
“We really didn't hit it off with each other,” Joe told People during his post-elimination media conference call. “I was really happy with everything that happened. I went in open-minded and put myself out there. We just didn't click. She was very sweet, and I wish her the best. I'm sure she'll find the right guy.”
Joe was asked if he thinks the right guy for Em is in her group of bachelors. Joe answered by declaring himself for Team JEM (and the Holograms!).
“My money's on Jef. He seems like a great guy, a caring individual, and he's got some money. I'm sure that's going to put me in a doghouse. Arie and Sean will stick around. And maybe Doug, the guy who got the first impression rose. They're solid good guys, good character.”
So that’s backing for Jef Holm, Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Sean Lowe, with Doug Clerget getting a maybe. Jef, Doug and Arie aren’t too surprising at this point, but most viewers would probably need a full description to pick Sean out of a lineup. He hasn’t been on any dates yet — not even the group date — and we’ve seen almost no interaction with Emily. Is he the season’s dark horse?

It sounds like Joe is also Team Spoilers, since Reality Steve has Jef, Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Sean Lowe as Em’s final three. Debate still rages on about what happens after the final three, but the Bachelor and Bachelorette Sleuthing and Spoilers Forum named Jef and Sean as Em’s final two, with Emily ultimately picking Jef. True? False? We’ll find out soon enough.
