Price Check! The REAL Deal on Ashley Hebert's Engagement Ring
Way back in the early days of The Bachelorette Season 7, a diamond expert estimated that Ashley Hebert’s 2-3 carat engagement ring was an Asscher cut worth up to $150,000. Well, not quite.
During ABC’s post-finale conference call with the Bachelorette and the guy who picked out the ring, her fiance JP Rosenbaum, it was revealed that the ring is actually a central cushion cut diamond accented with 162 round-cut diamonds weighing a total of 3.5 carats and set in platinum. It was hand-made and, of course, designed by the man, the myth, the diamond legend Neil Lane. The retail cost is $60,000. Not exactly chump change, but not $150K either.
