The negative tabloid stories about Bachelorette Emily Maynard are coming fast and furious now, but at least this one is kinda funny. Not that believable, but funny.

We've already read about Season 8's insane wardrobe budget. Although he didn't confirm the $350,000 price tag, Bachelorette stylist Cary Fetman told In Touch. “It was bigger than any previous season — and we still went over!”

Cary talked more about Emily's style in the new July 13 issue of Entertainment Weekly, but over at UsMagazine.com, an unnamed insider says Emily "literally cried" if she wasn't pleased with her on-set hair and makeup. "Emily would throw a fit if she didn't like her outfit. She'd burst into tears when she was unhappy."

Emily definitely seems to put some effort into her appearance, but crying over hair, clothes and makeup? Hard to believe that of our West Virginia backwoods hood rat, especially since Cary says in the EW interview that, except for rose ceremonies or a big date, Emily did her own hair and makeup.

"She has amazing taste [in clothes]," Cary says, "so I was just the person who brought things in for her to try on." He helped Emily put together 70 complete outfits in two days before the show began filming. He said it was so much fun, like having his own personal Barbie doll. "I told her 'I'm here to help you, but I don't want to change you. I like you the way you are and obviously the audience does too."

So if Emily really did burst into tears as The Bachelorette, we're thinking it probably had to do with other more important stuff — like the idea that she's in love with three guys at once. And we're in love with them too!
