Ryan Bowers love himself some good ol' fashioned fried chicken with a steaming side of dramarama, so it's only natural that he's a Chick-Fil-A fan. The problem? This wholesome restaurant chain made headline news (and not in a good way) by coming out against gay marriage, and folks are offended — to say the least.

Most people are traumatized that their favorite chicken joint has spoken out against LGBT rights, and many have called for a boycott of the company. You know, because equal rights tend to be more important than chicken. Then again, some Chick-Fil-A fans have stood by the company, and Ryan Bowers is one of them. He even took part in Stand With Chick-Fil-A Day.

"Everyone is eating at chik fil-a today to support the Kathy family and their stand for the sanctity of marriage!!!" Ryan tweeted on August 1. "Lv it!"

We're slightly surprised that Ryan rallied around Chick-Fil-A, but he wants to make it clear that he's not hating on the LGBT community — a group he does believe has "sins." "I would never [hate]," Ryan tweeted. "I love people. Their sin is no worse than my own. I'm just willing to recognize mine and work to please my savior :)"

"Obedience to Christ doesn't equate to judgement," he continued. "Love the sinner just not the sin. Not always easy." Try as Ryan might to sugar-coat his opinion, the mere fact that he thinks gay marriage is a sin lost him a slew followers. "I've lost 1000 followers standing up for the same freedom of speech liberal minded people stand for," Ryan tweeted
