It’s been a tough season so far for Season 7 Bachelorette Ashley Hebert. She’s had to deal with Bentley Williams’ deception, while only viewers (and producers and editors...) knew the truth, which led to some wrath from the other men when they found out how strongly she felt about him. I’m sure we’re not the only ones who never want to hear the name “Bentley” come out of her mouth, ever again.

But at least she has an ally in Season 6 Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, who recently defended Ashley in a video interview with Chris Harrison. She, too, was chided by viewers for her seeming insecurities (not to mention her whining and baby talk...) during her love “journey.” She made some good arguments in Ashley’s favor and encouraged viewers to give her a break.
