If you’re waiting for a reply e-mail from hot winemaker Ben Flajnik, you might want to grab a snack — it'll be a while.

“There have been quite a few submissions to the Evolve Winery website,” The Bachelorette runner-up told his home paper, the Sonoma Press Democrat. “I think I have thousands of emails, but I haven’t looked at them.”

Ben also claimed, “The whole reason I’ve been able to maintain a level head is I don’t read the blogs, I don’t read Twitter. That’s the best way I’m going to stay the same through this.”

This interview was done on Tuesday, the day after the Season 7 finale aired. Perhaps Ben was waiting to get on Twitter, because he’s definitely on there now. He’s even telling fans he’s thinking about becoming the next Bachelor.

However, he’s pretty busy with Evolve Winery, which definitely got a boost from being mentioned so many times on The Bachelorette. Ben’s business partner, Mike Benziger, is part of the Benziger Family Winery, where they bottle their Evolve wines. Paul Moran in the winery’s tasting room told the Press Democrat the place has been filled with Bachelorette fans.

“Certainly up to the finale, we were seeing people come in every day, saying ‘Can we see Ben?’” Paul said. “More bodies equals more sales, so that had a positive effect for us.”

This Paul guy also gave a thumbs-up to Ben’s edit on the show as a sensitive guy with a sense of humor. And he’s not sorry that Ashley set Storm Horse free. “It’s her loss,” Paul said. “He’s a great guy, but he can do better.”

But will he do better as The Bachelor or just with one of the thousands of people contacting him now?
