Why is everyone hatin’ on Mr. Sunshine? Next week’s previews for the rest of The Bachelorette Season 7 hint to Ryan Park rubbing some of the bachelors the wrong way. But this deleted scene from last night’s Episode 3 — in which Blake Julian and Ames Brown talk about who they expect to be safe at the Rose Ceremony — makes it seem like that the war on Ryan has already begun.

Ames thinks Ryan P. will be safe since he had been talking about his personal connection with Ashley Hebert, but Blake thinks that Ryan is all talk.

Blake: "That guy is the smarmiest dude I've ever met in my life. The way he talks and the way she thinks about him could be completely different."

Ames: "Interesting. I never even thought about that."

We won’t even mention how Ames looks like he’d believe the sky is magenta if you said it with enough authority, but Blake confidently dismisses Ryan P.’s confidence as him being “way convinced that he’s awesome.” But we’re not totally convinced that he’s not. Sure, we went down this road with Jake Pavelka — who became “Jake The Fake” — but just because someone is cheesy doesn’t mean he’s insincere.

Are the guys just jealous of Ashley’s First Impression Rose winner or is one of our Season 7 faves really as “smarmy” as Blake says? Seeing as the guys’ BS filter for Bentley Williams was as good as Ashley’s (read: nonexistent!), we’re going to stick with our gut on Ryan — until his actions prove otherwise.
