Team Jake or Team Vienna? So much of the Bachelor Pad Season 2 premiere was about the Bachelor Season 14 exes trying to win people to their side, so where do you stand?
Jake Pavelka chose the good cop strategy to win over housemates — and viewers. He had what seemed like cordial conversations with both Vienna Girardi and her new boyfriend Kasey Kahl. He gave his side of the breakup story to Jackie Gordon. He never insulted Vienna. He apologized to her in a prepared speech that was obviously geared toward redeeming his image in front of the cameras. But Vienna appeared to listen to him and they had a tense but non-confrontational bit of “closure.”
Except they didn’t. To the cameras, Vienna said Jake’s “I’m so sorry” speech made her sick. She continued to diss Jake as a phony “monster,” saying no one will understand what he’s really until they’re behind closed doors with him, away from the cameras. But if that’s the case, why does she stay on the show? If she’s truly terrified of him, why does she accept his date rose?
Team Jake, at this point, seems to include Gia Allemand (even though she was hurt by his rose decision) and now Jackie, at the very least.
Team Vienna seems to include Kasey (even though they’ve already had a tiff on camera) and now Michelle Money, for certain. Where do you stand?
