When Emily Maynard and Jef Holm broke up a few weeks ago, not only did Emily lose a fiancé — Ricki also lost a soccer coach. Super mom that she is, Emily stepped in on Saturday to lace up Ricki’s cleats and offer a few pointers, even if Emily herself is a little inexperienced when it comes to “the beautiful game”:
”Last minute coaching from the mom who has never played soccer in her life. #soccermom”
Coaching kids’ soccer isn’t so hard, Em. Just remind her there’s no “I” in “team” and be sure to tell her at the end of the game that there are no losers, only second winners.
