We first met Jillian Harris — or Jilly, as she likes to be called — on Jason Mesnick's ill-fated Bachelor Season 13. She then found love, however briefly, with Ed Swiderski on The Bachelorette Season 5 in 2009. So what's she up to now? Let's take a look.

Jillian, age 31, has had one of the most successful career transitions after The Bachelor and Bachelorette. She's currently part of the design team on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, which recently moved to Friday nights on ABC. Jillian called it her dream job. She also recently designed the rail car interiors for the Rocky Mountaineer train and redesigned the San Diego love nest where fellow Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky used to live with her fiance Roberto Martinez.

This year, Jill launched a flashy new website, JillianHarris.com, where she writes about interior design, fashion, and food — and answers fan questions and shares videos on what inspires her.

A proud Canadian, Jillian revealed in September that she was leaving Vancouver after seven years in the city. She said she was moving to be closer to her family in Kelowna, British Columbia, and her native Alberta. As she wrote in a sneak peek blog about her new place, “One thing I’m absolutely LOVING is how close I am to my family now. My parents are over daily, I see my cousins almost every day, and Granny comes over for coffee on Fridays and stays till mid-afternoon- it’s just awesome!”

In July, it was announced that Jillian would host Canada's Handyman Challenge, which will reportedly air on HGTV Canada in January,2012.

What's the latest on Jillian and Ed? They ended their engagement in 2010, but it was only this past August that Jillian felt comfortable enough to get candid about what happened.

As she wrote in a long piece on her blog, "For us (as with many breakups I’m sure) there were many reasons why it didn’t work. We spent every waking moment with each other for a year, and as much fun as we had, after a year we were both pretty overwhelmed and ‘over’ the whole situation.  We didn’t have any breathing room in the relationship, which is really important. Overall though, I would say that the experience of being engaged so quickly and publicly was the biggest factor in our breakup. People say we couldn’t actually have been in love, and I don’t think that was the case – our hearts were in love but we didn’t give ourselves enough time to ease into the relationship. So ladies and gentlemen no matter how crazy you are about someone take your damn time!"

Speaking of taking your time, one of Jillian’s rejected suitors on The Bachelorette Season 5 was Michael Stagliano. After his relationship with Holly Durst ended on Bachelor Pad Season 2, we suggested maybe he and Jillian give it another shot. Michael seemed into the idea and Jillian tweeted her affection for him, too. So which one of them should move to the other?
