Bachelorette 2012 Spoilers below...

As we all know, The Bachelorette Season 8 wrapped a while ago — which means, inevitably, it ended with a proposal (Thankfully, Emily did not pull a Brad Womack Season 11 and walk off into the sunset). The final rose ceremony was filmed in Curacao the weekend of May 12, 2012. So, who did Emily choose? This was a weighty decision for Em, who has repeatedly said she wants the next guy she says ‘yes’ to to be the last.

Here’s how it went down: Chris Bukowski was eliminated in the rose ceremony, leaving Arie Luyendyk, Jr., Jef Holm, and Sean Lowe as the final three. Arie’s place in the holy hunk trinity came as a surprise to us, because Emily just recently found out about Arie’s prior relationship with Cassie Lambert, a producer traveling with Em during filming. Sean, a sweet insurance salesman (and fitness model, natch) from Texas seemed to be the Lindzi Cox of this season: sweet, attractive, and amiable. Turns out, Sean was more the Kacie B of this season — as he was sent home, leaving Jef and Arie as the last two standing.

On to the final two: first, there’s the darling Jef Holm, who has already stolen the hearts of girls across America as we watched him fall for Emily. The Utah-born and raised entrepreneur bashfully skateboarded into the meet-and-greet, and Em was immediately giddy and tongue-tied around him. Then there's Arie Luyendyk, Jr., the dashing racecar driver who Emily is clearly in complete love lust with.

Who did Emily pick? Emily picked Jef!!!!! Our pal Reality Steve dropped this spoiler way back in July 2012, "Emily and Jef left Curacao as an engaged couple and are still engaged today."

UPDATE: Sadly, Emily and Jef's love only lasted from the Bachelorette finale to this fall. The reality star couple called it quits in October 2012, and we are totally heartbroken! Read all about their relationship here! in other news, Emily's third runner-up, Sean Lowe, will be the next Bachelor 2013
