UPDATE: It looked like baseball babe Chris Siegfried had the bases loaded, ready to hit a Grand Slam for love and win the game he did! Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock gave Chris one of the two final roses during the season finale and remained the one and only contender after Des kicked off Drew Kenney (though Chris remained in the dark about the situation). After surviving a cross-examination by Des’ notorious brother, Chris even sat down and picked a ring, which Des accepted! The two are now engaged! Bachelor Nation rejoice!
When it comes to being well-rounded, we’d draft Bachelorette Season 9 contestant Chris Siegfried in the first round (sports!). The 27-year-old Seattle resident has a lot going on, and not just in the looks department. Our left-handed homeboy can keep up with Desiree Hartsock with his good looks, sporty background, and smarts.
Besides the coupla years he spent pitching for the Chicago Cubs’ minor league team (2007-2011), he also made sure to study hard. The McMinnville, Oregon native graduated from University of Portland’s Entrepreneur Scholars Program and played baseball for the Portland Pilots while in college. These days, the 6’5” tall Oregon native splits his time between showing off his hot bod as a model and working as a production partner for HomeStreet Mortgage Lenders in the Emerald City.
And just so Des doesn’t worry that she’ll have to dress to the nines all the time, Chris could probs keep her in breathable workout pants with his sporting hookups. Back before he was lending the moneys, he was making it at Adidas, where he worked as a global marketing analyst and likely enjoyed wearing Sambas to work.
