The Bachelor franchise has been welcoming back its fair share of alumni recently, starting with Brad Womack’s not-so-successful run as the Bachelor for a second time, then bringing his ex, Emily Maynard, on board to star in The Bachelorette. Now, reports are fingering Roberto Martinez, who won Season 6 of The Bachelorette, as the next Bachelor.

So it’s only natural everyone’s wondering if Roberto’s ex, Ali Fedotowsky, would consider a Bachelorette do-over, too.  We asked and she answered at the kick-off event for Sauza tequila’s “Make It with a Fireman” campaign.

Wetpaint Entertainment: Now that you’re single again, would you consider giving The Bachelorette a second try?
Ali: I don’t think so - at least, not in the near future. I think it’s way too soon for something like that. So not right now, no.

But you are single, right?
Yes, let me clear this up. I’m not dating anyone. Charlie Ritchie? No. I haven’t spoken to him in months. But it’s crazy, people will write to me on Facebook and be like, ‘We know you’re dating Charlie Ritchie.’ But I’m not. It’s crazy. I’m not dating anyone.

I’m single right now. I’ve actually been single this entire time, despite what you may have heard! I’ve been on one or two semi-dates…I’m not even sure you would call them actual dates. But I’m ready. I’m ready.

When you do meet someone, you’ll shout it from the rooftops, right?
(Laughs) No, probably not. I would keep it private. Throwing it out there would be too much right now.
