The Bachelorette Season 6’s Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez announced their split just before Thanksgiving. We put out a poll asking Wetpaint readers if they’d want Ali to be The Bachelorette again and the majority of voters went with “Absolutely not.”

However, in December, a “friend” told OK! Magazine that ABC would like to have Ali back as The Bachelorette. Obviously she didn’t get the Season 8 gig, which went to The Bachelor 15 veteran Emily Maynard, but what about a future season? Ali was chatting on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show about Emily’s season — saying Em could be the best star the show’s ever seen — and she got asked about ever returning as the rosemistress.

“I always say never say never about these types of things,” Ali said. “For the most part I feel pretty confident in saying that I wouldn’t do it again. I don’t know that I’m willing to open that up again for the world.”

Can’t blame her for not wanting to put herself out there again, especially since she’s taken the bulk of the public blame for the end of Aliberto. Frankly we’d rather see Hottie Dimples as the one returning as The Bachelor, but a lot of fans — and Rosemaster Chris Harrison — are trying to get the show to return to casting “fresh faces” instead of the recycled contestants.
