We were cry-cry-crying in our lonely hearts when Sean Lowe deflowered everyone's favorite girl next door, Desiree Hartsock, during The Bachelor's Hometown Dates. These two had such great chemistry and, more importantly, we're 100 percent not ready to say goodbye to Des or her enormously bangin' bangs.

The good news? It looks like Bachelor Nation would love to see Desiree earn the coveted spot as ABC's next Bachelorette, and she's all for it! "Being on The Bachelor was a very emotionally draining experience to go through," Des tells Zap2it. "If I were offered the opportunity to be the next Bachelorette, I would definitely have to think about it –– make sure I'm prepared to get back on that emotional roller coaster."

Hmm, that doesn't sound like a definitive no or yes, but Des went on to clarify that it’s not the process she’s unsure about. "I do believe in the experience," Des continues. "I know the feelings are real and I do believe it can work out for the best. I'd probably say yes to the opportunity."

We're thrilled that Desiree is willing to give love another chance (with the help of Chris Harrison's words of wisdom, naturally), but she doesn't seem completely over Sean. "In the moment, I felt that we had the best connection," she says. "That I embodied all the qualities he wanted in a wife. So in that moment, I did feel it was a terrible mistake. However, looking back, he did have great relationships with the other girls. All things happen for a reason, so I don't think it was a mistake."

ABC hasn't reached a decision on who their next Bachelorette will be, but in the meantime, Desiree hopes to get some clarity at the Women Tell All special. "He made the best decision that he could and maybe there will be a better explanation at the 'Women Tell All,'" she says.

We can't wait for Sean and Des to come face to face! He has some serious explaining to do. Mostly about his lack of shirtlessness for the past few weeks.
