Ali Fedotowsky — of Season 14 Bachelor fame — meets the 25 men who will be vying for her love. Her sure-to-be adorable suitors include a real estate investor, a lawyer, a TV weatherman, and — get this — a professional wrestler. When the guys arrive in their caravan of limos, they bring the typical awkward shtick. One outdoorsman literally tries to reel her in, a skier does a back flip off the limo, and a desperate dude gets down on one knee and proposes. Inside, an aspiring writer is the first to snag some alone time with Ali, and another man shows the Bachelorette a sentimental scrapbook he made for her. (Is this dude for real? Scrapbooking, the art of manly men...) One guy busts out a ukulele and sings a funny song (this must be Wes 2.0), and yet another man — a sexy Latin one (is it hot in here?) — teaches Ali some salsa steps. To top it all off, the professional wrestler rips his shirt open, and a rugged country feller gives Ali a hand-crafted wood necklace.

But The Bachelorette wouldn't be The Bachelorette without some scandal! When the guys vote for someone they'd like to see go home, one man gets an overwhelming majority of the votes because he doesn't appear to be on the show for the right reasons. (Nothing new there!) At the end of the night, Ali sends eight bachelors home, narrowing the field to 17. Read full recap here.
