On October 5, 2012, Season 16 Bachelor couple Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson announced their decision to end their engagement. "The ups and downs weighed heavily on us both and ultimately we started to grow apart because of the distance, time apart, and our need to focus on our respective careers," they said in a joint statement. Courtney later told Wetpaint Entertainment that she "has no regrets" about her relationship with Ben, and that there was no major drama or third party involved. For now, Ben and Courtney say their plan to focus on their careers: winemaking and modeling, respectively.
