Zack Kalter is a 28-year-old web developer from Newport Beach, California, who got his degree in Business and Psychology at USC back in 2009, after receiving a full ride thanks to a basketball scholarship! Dude was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2005, but stopped playing professional b-ball thanks to his love for investing, internet marketing, and "domaining," which sounds adorably nerdy.
But wait, it gets even better. When he isn't busy geeking out, Zack spends his time trolling around Pinterest (his pins include "Funzies" and "Interior Design"), and writing his very first children's book, Cosie's Closet, a whimsical story about a little girl who loves to play dress up.
In other news, it looks like Zack is living the lifestyle of the rich and (almost) famous. His Twitter basically consists of him gabbing about fabulous vacations and even more fabulous meals, so hopefully Desiree loves being wined and dined! Oh, and to see Zack in the flesh, check out a video of him musing about his hatred of Valentine's Day!
Unfortunately for Zack, he didn't get much airtime with Desiree Hartsock and was eliminated in Season 9, Episode 4 when Desiree and her dudes headed to Atlantic City, New Jersey to hang by the boardwalk. Although Zack made a great showing, roller-skating around stage like a champ, he was eliminated when the final rose went to Mikey Tenerelli instead of him. In an unexpected twist, a show insider spilled to Wetpaint exclusively that the other guys were shocked when Zack went home. “They didn’t get the elimination at all,” the source explains. “He was cool and fun and he seemed to get plenty of time with Des. Not all of that was shown on the episode, though. So it didn’t make a lot of sense [for him to be sent home]. The reaction among everyone was, ‘Damn, she’s getting rid of all the good guys!’”
