Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) is both the symbol and the catalyst of revolution in The Hunger Games, but she can't do it alone. Fittingly, her allies are the focus of new TV spot for the second movie, Catching Fire — featuring Christina Aguilera's song for the film, "We Remain" — which you can check out below, thanks to Subway.
First up is Cinna (Lenny Kravitz), Katniss's stylist. She grimly says her final goodbyes to him as he preps her for the 75th Hunger Games. He cuts her off and puts a mockingjay pin on her sleeve. "Remember," he says, "I'm still betting on you, girl on fire."
In another scene, Katniss and Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks) both cry as Effie announces Katniss's name at the Reaping. Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Katniss's sister, Prim (Willow Shields), and even her addled mother (Paula Malcomson), raise three fingers to salute her.
Next, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) dissects the complexity of his feelings for Katniss: "I know it's not fair of me to hold you to things you said in the Games. You saved us — I know that."
Complicating the emerging love triangle, Gale, the other leading man of Katniss's life, pulls her in for a kiss. "I had to do that," he says. "At least once."
We also get our first glimpses of two of the other victors and returning tributes: the elderly Mags (Lynn Cohen), who comforts Katniss; and the cunning Johanna (Jena Malone), who tells Katniss to "make 'em pay for it."
