Season 2 of The Lying Game comes to an end tonight, and we have to admit, we’re totally on pins and needles! Will everyone find out the truth about Emma and Sutton (Alexandra Chando)? Will Derek’s killer be revealed? Will we finally learn the secret behind Ethan’s (Blair Redford) luscious locks?

To get to the bottom of things, we spoke exclusively with Charisma Carpenter, who plays the beautiful but devious Rebecca Sewell — otherwise known as the mother of the twins.

Charisma gave us the lowdown on the shocking Season 2 finale of The Lying Game, and whether she can picture Rebecca returning for Season 3.

Wetpaint Entertainment: How does Rebecca fit into the finale?
Charisma Carpenter: It seems like they’re setting her up to be the big bad, uber killer and framer, and overall general doer of bad deeds. I wouldn't’ be surprised if Alec does plan to frame derek’s murder on her. I know there’s a couple of confrontations that take place. I’m in two of those confrontations I can think of. It’s gonna be a doozy. There may or may be someone who dies at the end.

At this point, Alec and Rebecca’s marriage is just for appearances, and both of them seem to know that. Why do you think they stay together?
I don’t know. I feel like we had that Mr. and Mrs. Smith thing, where we thought one was going to kill the other, because he was upset that I framed him and he went to jail, and then he blamed me, but I didn’t think it was appropriate for him to blame me. There hasn’t really been much interaction between the two of them since. They’re really giving all of my scenes to the girls and the kids, and all of his scenes are between Ted and Kristin, which is not fun for me because I do really enjoy working with Adrian very much.

Your characters have great chemistry
I think we out-match each other. We stimulate each other on an emotional level and on a tactical level, so I think that's kind of thrilling.

Is Derek’s killer linked to Theresa’s death as well?
I don’t know if they are connected, but it seems like it is. It seems like there this a big bad uber villain to be revealed or figured out, and that they did both. I have my suspicions of who I think it is, and if it is that person, it will blow people away. Because the way the season finale ends, you're like, “No, it couldn't have been, not that person.” It totally bamboozled me.

If the show gets picked up for Season 3, where do you see Rebecca fitting in?
It feels like they’re really isolating her from everyone. Sutton and her aren’t getting along very well, she hasn’t really ever spoken to Emma. Alec is really into Kristin, so her husband isn't even in her corner anymore. She did kinda frame him and go to jail, so he doesn’t really like her for that. She has Jordan under her thumb, and he’s not in a hurry to be best buds with his mom. Mads doesn’t want to be under the same house, she thinks she's a potential killer. There’s this large berth everybody is giving my character, so I don't know what’s gonna happen with her.
