If watching The Lying Game has taught us anything, it’s that good looks come with a lot of trouble.

At least that’s the sense we get from the tall, dark, and handsome drink of water that is Ryan Rottman, who plays newcomer Jordan Lyle and Season 2.

The well-coiffed actor spoke to Hollywood Life about Jordan’s agenda this season, saying, “He does have skeletons. And they are definitely going to come out.”

First off, expect him and new step dad Alec Rybak (Adrian Pasdar) to form a tenuous alliance.

“The relationship evolves to the point where he kind of ends up on my side, and we become much more cordial than we started out,” said Ryan.

This could mean bad news for Rebecca (Charisma Carpenter), who we find out is not actually Jordan’s mother, despite appearances.

“Right, I’m not her real son,” Ryan said. “The more the season goes on, the more you learn about why Jordan’s out there, why they’re so close, and why he would even help her. He confides in her, and their relationship gets explored quite a bit.”

As long as all of this soul searching comes with plenty more shirtless poolside moments, we won’t mind at all.
