While most of us TV-starved plebians are waiting with bated breath for tonight's The Lying Game premiere, a few lucky critics had the fabulously good fortune of previewing ABC Family's newest plot-twisting offering. Dying to get the skinny on what's being said?

Well, Pretty Little Liars fans looking for another must-see show to DVR are most definitely in luck! Besides calling the twin-centric dramz "fun" and "soapy," BuddyTV.com said "there's a slightly complicated and preposterous mystery, sassy teenage girls with plenty of secrets, and a bunch of cute boys." So basically, everything we love, right?

The Los Angeles Times, who gave big props to Alexandra Chando for pulling off her dual role as Sutton and Emma, also dished about The Lying Game being a guilty little Monday-night pleasure. Even though they said the pilot episode has a handful of patchy spots (okay, okay, so they said it was "as wobbly on its legs as a newborn foal" — ouch!), they felt that there was a strong chance that this sibling-swapper would eventually land on its feet in a deliciously addictive way, a la PLL. And hey, whoever said that adorable, wobbly-legged ponies aren't fun to watch anyway?!

Of course there's only one tried and true, surefire way to tell if The Lying Game is going to be your newest fave show — so don't forget to tune in tonight at 9 p.m. on ABC Family.
