We’ve thought long and hard about Ted (Andy Buckley) and Alec’s (Adrian Pasdar) mysterious connection to Annie Hobbes, and here’s what we’ve come up with.

Alec or Ted must have preggo’d Annie’s eggo! Think about it: Both of them were already married when Annie popped out her babies, but clearly Ted and Alec knew Annie back in high school. Did one of them have an illicit affair during his marriage, get Annie knocked up, “adopt” Sutton (Alexandra Chando), and then stick Annie in a hospital to keep her quiet?
