The Muppets Set to Perform on The Voice Season 3 Tonight, Nov. 27, 2012

Cee Lo Green won’t be the only green on The Voice stage tonight.

On the Nov. 27 live results show, the Lady Killer will team up with none other than Kermit the Frog, as The Muppets take our favorite singing competition by storm!

According to an NBC press release, Kermit and Cee Lo will perform “an unforgettable duet” of the classic song “Bein’ Green,” and will later be joined by grumpy old critics Statler and Waldorf, Animal, Fozzie Bear, Janice, and The Great Gonzo.

Sadly, Miss Piggy is not mentioned, but we’re sure she’ll pop up — would she ever let them leave her out? We hope she steals Xtina’s chair!

"Performing ‘Bein’ Green’ with Kermit the Frog has been an idea and dream of mine for years now and it will definitely remain on the top of my most memorable collaborations!” Cee Lo said in the press release. “I'm honored to share another magical, musical moment with The Muppets." (That is, in addition to their collaboration on his holiday album, Cee Lo’s Magic Moment.)

Oh, and as a bonus tidbit? Apparently a new character named “Lo-Co” will be introduced, and he bears an “uncanny resemblance to Cee Lo Green” …

Color us green intrigued!
