Joseph Morgan is a man of many talents. He’s an actor, known best for his portrayal of vulnerable villain Klaus on The Vampire Diaries and now its spinoff The Originals, avid reader, and a painter. So when TV Guide asked JoMo for his artistic interpretation of several pieces of Klaroline art, he jumped right in. (Consider this a sign of hope, Klaroline fans!)

“That’s kind of freaky,” the sexy Brit said of one piece of fan art that split his handsome mug with Candice Accola’s flawless face. “That’s like an album cover, though? Her eye is so much bigger than mine as well.”

Of course, there were others. One reminded him of Beauty and the Beast. “That reminds me of a kind of fairy tale,” he said before complimenting the artist for her attention to detail.

But the drawing that impressed JoMo the most was one where Klaus was carrying a stack of colorful books. Why? Because the Originals star loves to read! “I started this online book club, Book Revolution,” he said. “Reading is a huge passion of mine. I think it’s one of the reasons I wanted to be an actor. So I love that that’s incorporated.”

Watch the video below for more of JoMo’s fan art critiques. Plus, the actor reveals how he gets into character on set! (Spoiler alert: Muse is involved!)

Do you think Klaroline should hold off on getting together, or do you want instant gratification? Watch the video and sound off below.
