Charles Michael Davis (Marcel Gerard) may star on The Originals as a rough and tough vampire running the streets of New Orleans like the best supernatural mob boss of all time, but that doesn’t mean he’s like that in real life. Charles wants you to know that that’s just for show. Check out the actor playing his best role yet: clad only in red briefs — all while singing Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love to You.” (Warning: start swooning now.)

In what is perhaps the world’s greatest 27-minute proposal video ever, Charles Michael Davis and his brilliant smile lend a hand to friend Justin Baldoni as he proposes to his girlfriend Emily Foxler at the Blu Jam Cafe in Los Angeles.

Once we get into the CMD themed portion of the video, he’s lipsynching along to N’Sync’’s “God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You,” the aforementioned Boyz II Men ballad, and ABBA’s “Dancing Queen.”

We weren’t kidding when we said this is the greatest thing we’ve ever seen. Seriously, who knew he had so much swag? Oh yeah, he did karaoke in the Originals pilot back in Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries. Duh.

Sit back, relax, grab some popcorn (and some tissues), and watch this romantic and over-the-top proposal video. Keep an eye out for a blond wig. Oh yeah, that’s right.

What do you think of this crazy proposal video? Hit the comments and let us know if you think Charles Michael Davis stole the show or not!
