Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) is more alone than ever after last night’s episode of The Originals (Season 1, Episode 7: “Bloodletting”). Might that change with an upcoming romantic storyline between the Original baddie and bartender shrink Cami (Leah Pipes)? E! Online talked to both JoMo and Leah about their characters upcoming scene-age!

Last time we checked, Cami more-or-less loathed Klaus after he made her forget her anger and pain surrounding her twin brother’s murder spree and suicide. Oh yeah, and for the fact that he made sure Agnes, aka the witch responsible for spelling Twin Brother into massacring, was punished without even consulting Cami. Has Cami had a change of heart concerning Klaus? Might she be the solution to Klaus’s current state of friendlessness?

Er, it doesn’t sound like it. JoMo teased that there will be “some distance” between the two, though it sounds like they have an epic scene coming up. Joseph called it “an amazing scene in episode nine, which I’m really proud of.” We’re still recovering from the emotional scene they shared at the end of Season 1, Episode 4: “Girl in New Orleans,” during which Klaus compelled Cami to forget the obsession with her brother’s death while she cried and begged him not to.

Klaus’ compulsion of Cami doesn’t stop there. He has it set up so that, when he is in her presence, she will remember what has gone down between the two of them, but will forget as soon as he leaves. But, it sounds like the trick might not last forever. Leah said, "You'll see her figure out how she can overcome this supernatural thing via human tactics." Sound like she’s putting the old psychology degree to good use!
