Fans of The Originals, the time has finally come for your favorite new show to make its valiant return from the dreaded winter hiatus and leap back into our lives. The Vampire Diaries spin-off left us with Episode 9 (“Reining Pain in New Orleans”) on December 3 and will roar back with Episode 10 (“The Casket Girls”).

We’ve got a good handle on the drama that’s going on down in NOLA, and we don’t expect things to slow down anytime soon. With Klaus (Joseph Morgan) finally back on top, Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Marcel’s (Charles Michael Davis) dealing with a very icy relationship, and all the hybrid baby drama, there’s a lot to catch up on for those of you who aren’t watching religiously.

If you’re already behind, you’re going to want to get caught up right away. But the real question is: Where can you watch The Originals online?

Here’s the amazing news: Thanks to the Powers That Be, you can catch new episodes online after they air right on the CW’s site. You might have to wait a day or two, but you’ll be able to catch new episodes for free — with commercials, of course.

Here’s your other, more expensive, option. Amazon Prime does have new episodes of TVD, as does Hulu Plus. What’s the difference between these two? Hulu Plus offers a $7.99 a month plan, though that ends up being about $20 more a year than Prime (which costs $79 per year). Either way, these are great options.

The Originals airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
