The midseason premiere of The Originals is just a day away — and we couldn’t be more excited. But what can we expect from Season 1, Episode 10 (“The Casket Girls”)? Well, as the title suggests, tomorrow’s episode will skew its focus toward the female faction of the cast. We’ll let star Charles Michael Davis (Marcel) elaborate.

Charles told E! Online that, when The Originals returns, we can expect to see the women on the cast taking back some of the power from the men. "I think that's something that you haven't really seen yet from the show and I think that it'll be really fun to see the girls kind of taking the power back," Charles teased. We agree — there’s been a lot of Marcel, Elijah, and Klaus scheming, but less so for the women we adore on this show.

What might this particular bout of girl power look like? Well, according to the official synopsis for the episode, “Cami (Leah Pipes) suffers through as Davina (Danielle Campbell) attempts to free her of Klaus’ mind compulsion, … Sophie (Daniella Pineda) gets in on the hunt to track [Davina] down, … Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is forced to make a tough decision after receiving an unexpected phone call, and Rebekah (Claire Holt) sets her own plan in motion when she enlists the help of someone from Marcel’s past.”

Sounds like all of our girls will be busy — and, some of their agendas suggest, be teaming up with one another! Not only will Cami and Davina continue the partnership they struck in the finale moments of the midseason finale, but — according to Charles — "You're definitely going to get to see the chemistry between [Hayley and Davina]." The good kind of chemistry? Because we’re kind of worried Hayley is working with the witches to turn Davina over to them … and that might cause a major kink in their burgeoning friendship. You know, if Davina survives the prospective betrayal.

The Originals returns Tuesday, January 14, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
