There's a battle brewing between two of our fave TV shows, The Originals and Pretty Little Liars, and the CW just threw the first punch.

Tonight, January 14, 2014, marks the beginning of the CW vampire drama and the ABC Family teen mystery going head-to-head in the Tuesday, 8 p.m. ET timeslot, and The Originals has gotten a little cheeky in the attempt to capture as many viewers as possible.

Here's the deal. The CW is going to run an ad for The Originals during Pretty Little Liars. You can see the ad over at EW.com, and believe us, it's not any old promo — it specifically targets PLL, saying that if "A" is making you "Angry" or "Agitated," the "Answer" might be on "Another channel." And yes, it even cops the red capital A that's used in so many Pretty Little Liars promos.

The ad goes on to instruct viewers to "head over to the CW right now and see what everyone's tweeting about." Nope, not over yet! The ad finishes off with this parting shot: "It's time to ditch the old 'A' for something that's Absolutely Bad A##."

We're so torn on whether or not we think this promo is totally funny, or a bit tactless. On one hand, The Originals is totally badass, and we want as many people to watch it as possible. On the other hand, we're still totally addicted to Pretty Little Liars, and the "A" mystery is actually moving forward this season.
