The Originalssquabbling siblings Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) are in for an epic fallout when Klaus learns about Rebekah’s part in luring their father to New Orleans in 1919. The action caused the Mikaelsons to flee the city, aka their home, not to return for almost a century. Basically, Klaus is going to be so pissed. And it seems that his revenge will match his fury.

Executive producer Michael Narducci just tweeted a promotional poster teasing upcoming episodes. It features Rebekah and Klaus and it looks like someone is going to burn. “Oh, brother,” Michael tweeted, along with the pic. The poster has Rebekah in the foreground, peering out towards the looker, while Klaus glares at her from behind. Where she can’t see him. It is creepy.

“His revenge will be swift, but not painless,” says the tagline for the promo shot. Eek! Watch out, Rebekah! Klaus is onto you.

Seriously, though. We’re really worried about our girl Bex. Not only is she the snarkiest, sexiest vampire this side of the French Quarter, but we also don’t really blame her for luring Mikael to town. We don’t know the full story, but Klaus has been terrorizing her for centuries, literally killing any chance she had at happiness. Sure, it was a back-stabby thing to do to her own brother — and things obviously didn’t go according to plan — but Klaus has done so much worse. Just saying.

As for when this revenging might go down, we think the truth bomb may be dropped sooner rather than later now that Genevieve is back and town and has the brother/sister duo in her clutches. She knows the truth about Rebekah’s part in the scheme, and has an axe to grind with her. Even if the witch bites the bullet (as witches do on this show), we think she’ll spill the beans to Klaus before she goes. What better form of revenge could she commit than to sic the King of Revenge himself on Rebekah?

Do you think Rebekah was justified in bringing Mikael to New Orleans? What do you think Klaus will do when he finds out? Sound off in the comments below!

The Originals returns on Tuesday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
