Now that Rebekah (Claire Holt) is gone from our lives on The Originals (with only the chance to return as a guest star), we’re down one Original vampire. And while she has only been gone one week, we got to fast-forward on the show, with us coming in a few days or weeks later with peace the only thing on Elijah’s (Daniel Gillies) mind.

In tonight’s episode — Season 1, Episode 17 (“Moon Over Bourbon Street”) — Elijah and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) were out to get all of the factions to get along, and ended up throwing a party in order to clear the air.

With tensions at an all-time high and the lights dim for the huge shindig, of course there was tons of awesome music for us to enjoy.
