After Father Kieran’s (Todd Stashwick) tragic — yet eventual — death last week on The Originals, it’s time to put him to rest. In Season 1, Episode 20 (“A Closer Walk With Thee”), that’s exactly what’ll be happening, and what’s a funeral without a wake?

In this super emotional sneak peek at tonight’s episode, Marcel Giraud (Charles Michael Davis) is giving a heartfelt eulogy for his fallen friend. If he eventually fails at taking back the French Quarter from Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan), this dude definitely has a future as a speechwriter. Here’s what he has to say:

“Kieran rolled into town with a rusty, old cruiser after his daddy died 25 years ago — and dammit that guy could party. That was, of course, before he took his vows. But, even then, he was committed to the Quarter. He knew that this town needed him — and we still do. To Father K.”

Aww, Marcel! While watching Marcel give his speech, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for Cami (Leah Pipes) and her emotions. At first she smiles at Marcel’s humorous old stories about her uncle, but later, when it sinks in that he’s gone forever, she begins to cry and has to excuse herself.

If this doesn’t help you ‘ship Marcel and Cami together, we don’t know what will.
