Davina (Danielle Campbell) will be coming into her own in Season 2 of The Originals with a “stronger” and “funnier” version of herself, according to E! Online. The entertainment news outlet chatted with Danielle, who spilled details about her Season 2 dynamics with Mikael (Sebastian Roche) and new love interest Kaleb (Daniel Sharman).

"It's really cool to see little Davina completely controlling [Mikael]," Danielle said of the dynamic between the two characters in the upcoming season. "They have a lot of banter. It's just fun. Davina is just completely sarcastic with him and doesn't care about anything he's saying." Um, this sounds kind of amazing. We’d love for the show to bring in some humor in this dynamic, and wouldn’t say no to Mikael developing some paternal feelings for Davina — if it’s still possible for the vampire hunter to, you know, feel.

Of course, Davina won’t be spending all of her time with her house “guest.” She’s also be welcoming a hunky new warlock to town, Kaleb. "There's a lot to feel out with it, so she's taking her time," Danielle said of the new romance for her character. We don’t blame the girl for taking things slow. Her last boyfriend was heartlessly killed by Klaus. If the girl didn’t have commitment issues before, she probably does now.
