We've been waiting with fevered anticipation for The Secret Circle to come back from hiatus, but despite this week's fast-paced and thrilling episode, it doesn't look like hoards of fans tuned in.
TV Line reports that The Secret Circle fell 36 percent to a series low of 1.11 million total viewers, and 29 percent to a .5 demo rating. Before panic sets in, it might comfort you to know that this decline is pretty normal when a show returns from a three week-long break. After all, viewers get distracted and forget to watch!
Unfortunately, The Secret Circle is still "on the bubble" for the CW, which means the network hasn't decided whether or not to renew for a second season. Make sure to tune into next week's all-new episode if you want to see our witchy friends hit up the small screen next year!
