The stars, you guys. The stars! These sparkly bits of astrological beauty do more than determine your horoscope – they play matchmaker to emo witches in Chance Harbor!

As we all know, The Secret Circle's Cassie Blake (Britt Robertson) and Adam Conant (Thomas Dekker) are fated to be together, and in Episode 17, "Curse," John Blackwell confirms their destiny. The catch? Their love is cursed – much like Romeo and Juliet – only more '90s and with (hopefully) less poison.

So, how to break this curse? Cassie and Adam take a trip to visit Grandma Jane (Ashley Crow), who's still relaxing at her "retreat" (read: mental institution), and might be able to help. Of course, Grandma Jane drops the bomb that someone will die if said curse is "awakened" – but, really? Last time we checked in on this lady she was completely incoherent. Can we trust her?

Meanwhile, Lee Labeque's comatose girlfriend becomes increasingly jealous of Faye (Phoebe Tonkin), and decides to stalk her. Totally normal teenage behavior. We can't wait to see how this love connection pans out, but somehow we have a feeling voodoo dolls will be involved.

In other news, Charles Meade (Gale Harold) is determined to take down John Blackwell, and he plots his next move. Sigh, we're still mourning the loss of those floppy man-bangs.

Check out the full synopsis below!

CASSIE VISITS HER GRANDMOTHER AND LEARNS SOME STARTLING NEWS, FAYE GETS A STALKER AND CHARLES MAKES HIS MOVE — Blackwell (guest star Joe Lando) warns Cassie (Britt Robertson) and Adam (Thomas Dekker) that their love may be destiny, but it’s also a curse. He suggests they go visit her grandmother, Jane (guest star Ashley Crow) to find out if there is a spell to reverse it.  Jane warns Cassie that someone in the Circle will die if the curse is awakened.  Meanwhile, Eva (guest star Alexis Fast) starts stalking Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) and Charles (Gale Harold) makes his next move against Blackwell.
