The Secret Circle

Sigh, witch hunters! They just can’t resist the urge to kill small town teens, can they? Get ready, get set, get man-witched, because the dark lord and his enemies are returning to Chance Harbor, and damsels are in distress!

In The Secret Circle Season 1, Episode 15, Cassie (Britt Robertson) gets a shock when John Blackwell shows up at her front door. That’s right, daddy dearest is back, and he isn’t in town for a bonding sesh. Dude just wants his medallion (read: Man jewelry) back, and Cassie is so put off by her dad’s pushy attitude that she runs away and gets herself captured by the marauding troop of witch hunters.

Jake (Chris Zylka) is once again put in the position of having to save Cassie, so he offers to sacrifice himself to the witches in return for her safety. Our hero! Meanwhile, Adam (Thomas Dekker) is eager to participate in the whole saving Cassie thing, so he skips off to find the rest of the Circle in the hopes that their group magic can help the sticky situation.

In other news, Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) has moved on from Nick (Louis Hunter) to the next available person with middle-parted hair: Lee’s greasy friend Callum. Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) and Diana (Shelley Hennig) are worried that Melissa is spending too much time with this flannel-obsessed grifter, but will Melissa listen to their words of witchy wisdom?

CASSIE'S PAST COMES BACK TO HAUNT HER — Cassie (Britt Robertson) is stunned when a notoriously evil figure from her past shows up on her doorstep (guest star Joe Lando, “Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman”). However, her surprise quickly turns to suspicion when he asks her to return the medallion she found in the wreckage of the fire that killed their parents. Cassie storms off but is captured by Eben and his band of witch hunters. Jake (Chris Zylka) offers to trade himself for Cassie’s freedom and when Adam (Thomas Dekker) realizes they’re in trouble he calls the Circle. Meanwhile, Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) and Diana (Shelley Hennig) are concerned when Melissa starts spending more time with Callum (guest star Michael Graziadei).
